Upper intermediate - players have a solid understanding of the game, can execute a variety of shots consistently and are familiar with badminton rules and tactics. Some have received coaching or played on university teams or in Copper/Bronze tournaments with some degree of success. We welcome players who are confident with rallies, serving, receiving and footwork.

We are an informal club and typically book 1 - 2 courts depending on demand. We aim for around 3 players per court, so everyone gets plenty of game time, usually playing two games on, one game off in rotation.

Our sessions take place once a week. Each session typically lasts around 2 hours, giving players plenty of time to play several singles games.

We usually play at Armitage Sports Centre or Platt Lane Sports Complex, depending on court availability.

Please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations aren’t possible due to advance court bookings, but you’re welcome to find a substitute player and we’re happy to assist.
